Just to recap, we're using 2007A 8.00.181, not 8.8 or 9.0. We originally bought and installed the product in late 2006/early 2007 and it does what we need, from a functionality point of view we don't need to upgrade. But the hardware is old, and the Server 2003 R2/SQL Server 2005 combination it's running on are both EOL.
The VAR we used to get set up is no longer in business.
We are not currently under maintenance, I'm told the last maintenance was 2011. I'm also told at one point we had an SAP online account of some kind but we're not sure we still have those credentials, or if that account is still valid.
It looks like there are some resources for migrating to newer software/hardware and getting new hardware keys but they seem to require access to the SAP Service Marketplace. I'm not sure if the account credentials we had, even if we can find them again, would apply to the Marketplace.
Given the above situation, can someone outline what we need to do to get access to the Marketplace? If there are any costs involved can I get an idea of what they might be? Thanks.
