how to add more features in FilterBar...........???

Hi All

              I want to add Variant and Search box in Left side of FilterBar

i have used this Code

<FilterBar    searchEnabled="true" showClearButton="true" showRestoreButton="true" >

But is Note Working ....please help me out this....
