Input Parameter usage in SQL Editor Option for Calculation View

Is there a way to use Input Parameter in SQL Editor Option for Calculation View. I can use within graphical editor option for calculation view. But somehow I am not able to find how to write the correct SQL syntax which would leverage input parameter though there is an option to create one.
